Participation in the TCA „Enhancing Digital Competences in Education and Training” in Tallinn, Estonia (Michael Erz)

The central objective of the TCA "Enhancing Digital Competences in Education and Training" in Tallinn, Estonia, was to initiate new project partnerships based on initial project ideas in Key Action 2. The organiser was the Estonian national agency for the Erasmus+ programme.

The event provided a good opportunity to discuss the results of the ongoing small partnership (KA210) with the participating organisations and to discuss further project ideas.

As a result, there were good contacts with which new project ideas could be further developed. The seminar allowed plenty of time for this work. The good support from colleagues at the Estonian national agency, who contributed to good progress through critical questioning and their expertise, deserves a positive mention. Well-selected keynote speeches also made it easier to find ideas for partnership projects and reflect existing pedagogical approaches.

The contributions by Pasi Silander on the "Importance of computational thinking in the age og AI" and Mart Laanpere ("future of digital competences") should be emphasised here. For institutions new to the Erasmus+ programme, there were also very useful explanations on how to apply for funding. Overall, the event led to a critical reflection of our current project as well as to the concretisation of further project ideas and the expansion of the circle of interested parties for future collaborations.
